Scotish Coffee — Skotse koffie

Do it the Scotish way next time you serve coffee after a dinner party.
Probeer gerus hierdie Skotse koffie met 'n skop na 'n heerlike aandete.

Ingredients:
1 to 1½ tots Scotch whisky
hot coffee
1 dash creme de menthe
1 maraschino cherry
whipped cream
1 teaspoon brown sugar

Method:

  • Pour whisky into a coffee mug. Fill with black coffee and brown sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Spray a generous amount of whipped cream on top of the coffee.
  • Trickle creme de menthe to form green stripes on the whipped topping and place the cherry on top.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Bestanddele:
    1 to 1½ sopies Skotse whisky
    warm koffie
    1 skeutjie mentroomlikeur
    1 maraschino kersie
    geklopte room
    1 teelepel bruin suiker

    Metode:

  • Gooi whisky in 'n koffiebeker. Vul met swart koffie en bruin suiker en roer totdat suiker opgelos het.
  • Spuit heelwat geklopte room op die koffie sodat dit 'n punt na bo vorm.
  • Drup mentroomlikeur op room om groen strepies daarop te vorm. Sit die kersie in die middel.
  • Bedien dadelik.
