Heidi’s Herb Bread — Heidi se kruiebrood

Running out of time and you still need bread to serve with your homemade soup?
Heidi shared her recipe for herb bread with us.

Haal die tyd jou in en jy wil nog brood bak om saam met sop te bedien? Heidi het
haar resep vir kruiebrood met ons gedeel.


Ingredients:
500g self-raising flour
500ml buttermilk
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon marjoram
90ml Cheddar cheese
2 crushed garlic cloves

Method:

  • Mix the dry ingredients. Add buttermilk en mix well.
  • Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C in a pre-heated oven.
  • Bestanddele:
    500g bruismeel
    500ml karringmelk
    1 teelepel sout
    2 teelepels gekapte pietersielie
    1 teelepel marjolein
    90ml Cheddarkaas
    2 fyngedrukte knoffelhuisies

    Metode:

  • Meng droë bestanddele. Voeg karringmelk by en meng goed.
  • Bak vir 45 minute by 180°C in ’n voorverhitte oond.
