Sweet & Sour Liver — Soetsuur lewer

Serve this Sweet & Sour Liver with rice and mixed vegetables.
Bedien hierdie soetsuur lewer saam met rys en gemengde groente.

Ingredients:
30ml cooking oil
500g beef liver, cut in 5mm strips
125ml warm beef extract
15ml chutney
50ml seedless raisins
15ml white vinegar
5ml salt
2ml paprika

Method:

  • Heat the oil en fry liver for 3 minutes over low heat.
  • Add rest of ingredients, put lid on, turn heat down and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until soft.
  • Bestanddele:
    30ml kookolie
    500g bees-le-wer, in 5mm-re-pe ge-sny
    125ml warm vleis-af-trek-sel
    15ml blat-jang
    50ml pit-lo-se ro-sy-ne
    15ml wynasyn
    5ml sout
    2ml paprika

    Metode:

  • Verhit die kook-olie en braai die le-wer 3 mi-nu-te lank oor hoë hit-te.
  • Voeg die res van die be-stand-de-le by, plaas die dek-sel op, stel die plaat af en laat prut 12-15 minute of tot-dat die le-wer sag is.
