Cheese and Mealie Delight

Ingredients
300ml milk
30ml butter
3 eggs (separated)
410g whole kernel mealies
100g Cheddar cheese (grated)
5ml French mustard
250ml fresh bread crumbs
salt and freshly grounded black pepper to taste
Method
Warm milk and butter in a cast iron pot.
Whip egg yolks and add with other ingredients except the egg whites to the milk.
Whip egg whites and fold in.
Cover and cook for 30 minutes over low heat until set.
Enough for 6 portions.

300ml melk
30ml botter
3 eiers, geskei
1 blik (410g) heelpitmielies
100g Cheddar-kaas (gerasper)
5ml Franse mosterd
250ml vars broodkrummels
sout en varsgemaalde swartpeper na smaak
Metode
Verhit melk en botter in 'n ysterpotjie.
Klits eiergele en roer by melk saam met res van bestanddele, behalwe eierwitte.
Klits eierwitte en vou liggies in.
Bedek en laat 30 minute prut oor koel kole tot gestol.
Genoeg vir 6 mense.
