Jelly Surprise — Jellieverrassing

Combine the flavours of strawberries, port wine, raspberries and cherries and you have a desert fit for a king.
Meng die geure van aarbeie, portwyn, framboos en kersies en jy kry 'n nagereg vir lekkerbekke.

Ingredients:
1 x 83g packet each of strawberry, port wine and raspberry jelly
3 cups boiling water
3 cups cold water
1 cup fresh strawberries cut in quarters
˝ cup glazed cherries

Method:

  • Dissolve strawberry jelly in 1 cup boiling water en then add 1 cup cold water.
  • Add strawberries when the jelly starts to set, pour in a glass bowl en put in the fridge.
  • Mix the port wine jelly in the same manner, allow to cool and pour it over the set strawberry jelly. Put back in the fridge.
  • Mix the raspberry jelly and add the cherries when the jelly starts to set. Pour over the other jelly mixture and allow to set properly in the fridge.
  • Bestanddele:
    1 x 83g pakkie elk aar-bei-jel-lie, port-wyn-jel-lie en fram-boos-jel-lie
    3 koppies kook-wa-ter
    3 koppies koue wa-ter
    1 koppie vars aar-beie in kwar-te ge-sny
    ˝ koppie glans-ker-sies

    Metode:

  • Los die aar-bei-jel-lie in 1 kop-pie kook-wa-ter op en voeg dan 1 kop-pie koue wa-ter by.
  • Wanneer die jel-lie be-gin stol, voeg aar-beie by, giet in 'n glas-bak en ver-koel in die ys-kas.
  • Berei die port-wyn-jel-lie soos hier-bo be-skryf en wan-neer dit be-gin stol, giet oor die vo-ri-ge jel-lie-meng-sel en bę-re in die ys-kas.
  • Berei die fram-boos-jel-lie en wan-neer dit be-gin stol, voeg die ker-sies by. Giet bo-oor die laag port-wyn-jel-lie en sit weer in die ys-kas om fi-naal te stol.
