Spicy Peanut Rice Gekruide grondboontjierys
It's spicey, tasty, healthy and tempting. And we suppose that is enough reasons to serve this Spicy Peanut Rice this Sunday.

Ingredients:
3 small, crushed garlic cloves
1 chilli
3 tablespoons olive oil
1½ cups long grain rice
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup big salted peanuts
1 bunch of finely cut spring onions (only the green part)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Method:
Fry the garlic and chilli for 1 minute in oil over low or moderate heat in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.
Add the rice and stir-fry for 1 minute. Stir all the time.
Add 4 cups of water and salt and bring to the boil. Cover and cook over low heat until ready.
Cool down and add the peanuts, spring onions and lemon juice. Mix well.
Add freshly ground black peppercorns to taste and serve at room temperature.

Bestanddele:
3 klein huisies knoffel, gepers
1 brandrissie
3 eetlepels olyfolie
1½ koppie langkorrelrys
1 teelepel sout
1 koppie groot gesoute grondbone
1 bossie fyngesnyde sprietuie, net groen gedeelte
2 eetlepels vars suurlemoensap
Metode:
Panbraai die knoffel en brandrissie vir 1 minuut in olie in 'n swaar kastrol oor lae of medium hitte.
Voeg die rys by en braairoer vir 1 minuut terwyl jy voortdurend roer.
Voeg 4 koppies water en die sout by en bring tot kookpunt. Bedek en kook die rys op lae hitte totdat dit gaar is.
Laat afkoel en meng dan die grondbone, sprietuie en suurlemoensap by.
Voeg vars gemaalde swart peper na smaak by en dien by kamertemperatuur op.
