Egg Salad — Eierslaai

Serve egg salad as a light lunch and you can over indulge at dinner.
Eet hierdie eierslaai vir middagete en jy kan bekostig om aan 'n groot aandete weg te lê.

Ingredients:
6 eggs (hard-boiled)
50ml green pepper (finely chopped)
4 sticks celery (sliced)
lettuce
parsley (chopped)
Optional: Feta cheese

Salad Dressing:
50ml mayonnaise
5ml cider vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
5ml onion (chopped)
2,5ml Worcestershire sauce

Method:

  • Line salad bowl with lettuce leaves.
  • Cut eggs into large chunks and place in bowl with celery, green pepper and feta cheese.
  • Mix all dressing ingredients well and toss gently until well mixed. Garnish with parsley.
  • Put in fridge to chill.
  • Bestanddele:
    6 eiers (hard gekook)
    50ml groenrissie (fyn opgekap)
    4 selderystingels (gesny)
    slaaiblare
    pietersielie (opgekap)
    Opsioneel: Fetakaas

    Slaaisous:
    50ml mayonnaise
    5ml appelasyn
    sout en peper na smaak
    5ml uie (gekap)
    2,5ml Worcestersous

    Metode:

  • Voer slaaibak met slaaiblare uit.
  • Sny eiers in groot stukke en pak saam met seldery, groenrissie en fetakaas in bak.
  • Meng al die bestanddele vir slaaisous, gooi oor slaai en meng liggies. Versier met pietersielie.
  • Verkoel in yskas.
