Cucumber Sauce — Komkommersous

Cucumber sauce may be used on hot or cold fish or shellfish.
Komkommersous kan saam met warm of koue vis en skulpvis bedien word.

Ingredients:
1 cucumber, grated with peeling left on
½ cup sour cream
½ cup plain yoghurt
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Method:

  • Squeeze grated cucumber in a tea towel to extract excess water.
  • Add and blend all the ingredients with the grated cucumber.
  • Refrigerate for one hour to blend flavours.
  • Bestanddele:
    1 komkommer, gerasper met skil en al
    ½ koppie suurroom
    ½ koppie ongegeurde joghurt
    4 eetlepels vars suurlemoensap

    Metode:

  • Verwyder oortollige water uit gerasperde komkommer deur in ’n teedoek saam te pers.
  • Voeg res van bestanddele by gerasperde komkommer en meng goed.
  • Sit vir uur in yskas sodat verskillende smake goed meng.
