Fish Fillets in Sour Cream
Vismootjies in suurroom

Fish fillets in sour cream is delicious. Remember, fish is cooked when the flesh becomes opaque and flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Vismootjies in suurroom is heerlik. Onthou, vis is gaar wanneer die vleis dof raak en die stukkies maklik loskom as dit met ’n vurk getoets word.

Ingredients:
6 fish fillets
25ml dry vermouth
1 cup sour cream
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated onion
½ teaspoon salt
Additional: dash of hot pepper sauce

Method:

  • Place fish fillets in baking dish and sprinkle with dry vermouth.
  • Combine the other ingredients and spread mixture over the fillets.
  • Sprinkle with paprika and bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and lemon and serve.

  • Bestanddele:
    6 vismootjies
    25ml droë vermoet
    1 koppie suurroom
    ¼ koppie Parmesan-kaas
    1 eetlepel suurlemoensap
    1 eetlepel gerasperde uie
    ½ teelepel sout
    Addisioneel: paar druppels warm pepersous

    Metode:

  • Sit vismootjies in ’n bakpan en besprinkel met vermoet.
  • Meng die ander bestanddele en smeer oor die vismootjies.
  • Sprinkel paprika oor en bak vir 25-30 minute by 180°C.
  • Garneer met pietersielie en lemoen voor opdiening.
