Ingredients:
40g butter
1 sliced onion
1 crushed garlic clove
410g canned whole tomatoes
450ml water
25ml tomato pureé
50g vermicelli
75g cream cheese
5ml sugar
1 chicken stock cube
seasoning to taste
Method:
Melt butter in a pan. Add the onion and garlic and fry for 4 minutes.
Add the canned tomatoes, sugar, stock cube, seasoning, water and tomato pureé. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the pasta and simmer for a further 5-6 minutes. Stir to separate the strands.
Add the cream cheese in small quantities and stir until dissolved.
Serve immediately.

410g geblikte heel tamaties
450ml water
25ml tamatiepuree
50g vermicelli
75g roomkaas
5ml suiker
1 blokkie hoenderekstrak
geurmiddels na smaak
Metode:
Smelt botter in pan. Voeg uie en knoffel by en braai vir 4 minute.
Voeg geblikte tamaties, suiker, ekstrakblokkie, geurmiddels, water en tamatiepuree by. Verhit tot kookpunt en laat vir 30 minute prut.
Voeg pasta by en prut vir nog 5-6 minute. Roer om te keer dat pasta nie vasklou nie.
Voeg roomkaas bietjie vir bietjie by en roer totdat dit opgelos het.
Bedien onmiddellik.
