Mealie Madness — Mielie-konkoksie
Talk about easy-cooking! This "mealie-madness" comes from Isca Scorgie
of Warmbaths. She was the founder of House Tekna, a home for
neglected and abused children.
Hier is nou 'n maklike gereg! Hierdie resep kom van Isca Scorgie van Warmbad. Sy
was die stigter van Huis Tekna, 'n huis vir verwaarloosde en mishandelde kinders.
Ingredients:
1 tin sweet-corn
1 tin pit-mealies
½ cup sugar
1 big tablespoon maizena
1 teaspoon baking powder
3-4 eggs (whipped)
Method:
Mix all the ingredients and bake for one hour at 180ºC.
Serve with breakfast or as a side-dish at a braai.

1 blikkie suikermielies
1 blikkie pitmielies
½ koppie suiker
1 groot eetlepel maizena
1 teelepel bakpoeier
3-4 eiers (geklits)
Metode:
Meng al die bestanddele en bak vir 1 uur by 180ºC.
Bedien saam met ontbyt of saam met braaivleis.
